काठमाडौँ । ग्रेगोरियन पात्रोअनुसार आजदेखि इस्वी संवत्को नयाँ वर्ष सन् २०२६ सुरु भएको छ ।
येशु ख्रिस्टको जन्म भएको वर्षदेखि पादरी ग्रेगोरियनले सुरु गरेकाले यसलाई ग्रेगोरियन पात्रो भन्ने गरिएको हो । नयाँ वर्ष सन् २०२६ का अवसरमा यो पात्रो अनुसारको चाड पर्व मान्नेले आज एकापसमा शुभकामना आदानप्रदान गरी मनाउँछन् ।
ग्रेगोरियन पात्रोका आधारमा चलाइएको इस्वी सन् सौरमासका आधारमा मात्र निर्माण गरिएको बताइन्छ । यसको आलोचना गर्नेहरूले सोही आधारमा पात्रो वैज्ञानिक नभएको समेत भन्ने गरेका छन् ।
